Mother Nature creates many beautiful sunsets over the Indian River Bridge and the Indian River Inlet and Bay. The Charles W. Cullen Bridge is a centerpiece of this favorite camping, swimming and fishing area known as the Delaware Seashore State Park.
The Indian River inlet joins the Rehoboth Bay and the Indian River Bay with the Atlantic Ocean just north of Bethany Beach, Delaware. The Indian River Bridge over the inlet allows traffic to flow north and south along "Coastal Highway" (Route 1), connecting several beach resort towns from Ocean City in Maryland to Rehoboth Beach and Lewes in Delaware.
