Description

Standing tall to greet the rays of the rising sun, this sunflower stands reaches high into the morning sky. The golden hues of early morning make this large, yellow flower appear as orange as the sun itself.

I am fortunate to have two fields of sunflowers near to where I live. This beauty was photographed near Selbyville, Delaware. Another field of younger sunflowers is near the town of Roxanna, DE. Both are often seen by visitors to the Delaware beaches and Ocean City, MD.

If you like flowers and like sunflowers in particular this would make a wonderful art piece for your home or office. It is also available on home decor items. Which one is your favorite?
