Description
Here is an aerial view of the Fenwick Island Lighthouse as seen from an altitude of 75 feet. It shows the lighthouse, the keeper's house, assistant keeper's house and much of the town of Fenwick Island, Delaware. The lighthouse is actually located in Delaware but the camera was actually in Ocean City, Maryland at the time of capture.
The Fenwick Island Lighthouse has been aiding navigation for mariners since August 1, 1859. Today, the historic structure is a popular tourist destination, especially for photography enthusiasts. The "Fenwick Light" is an historic landmark located in southernmost Delaware right at the border with Ocean City, Maryland.
