Autumn winds play in the wild surf along the Atlantic beach of the sand bar known as Fenwick Island, to which the towns of Ocean City, Maryland, and Fenwick Island, Delaware, owe their existence. The sky reflects the chill in the air and the deep blue-green of the Atlantic Ocean while the dunes display the golden hues of beach grasses in the Fall.
